There have been two attempts to resurect the Pan Am name only. The first started operations in 1996 and ceased operations in 1998. It used the IATA PN. The second started operations in 1998 and ceased operations in 2004. It used the original IATA and ICAO call signs (PA and PAA). It was owned by Boston-Maine Airlines, an airline that still fllies today and still operates a "Pan Am Clipper Connection" brand on some of its flights.
